Carbon Dioxide is a gas. Carbon dioxide plays a major role in photosynthesis. CO2 can be added to your grow room with a mushroom bag, a tank and regulator or a generator. Most of the time, people add carbon dioxide using pressurized aluminum cylinders of various sizes, depending on the size of the garden. The typical tank sizes are 20 lbs, 35 lbs, and 50 lbs. After you've purchased a tank to supplement carbon dioxide, you will also need what's called a regulator, to regulate the amount of gas you want to release into your indoor garden. Without the regulator, either the tank valve is open or the tank valve is closed. A regulator installed on your tank will allow you to slowly or quickly release the CO2 gas out of your tank, allowing you more flexibility and control over the gas flow. In addition we also sell CO2 testers and controllers. To learn more about CO2/Carbon Dioxide read our CO2 FAQ page or contact our knowledgeable staff.
